The FIA, the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, has announced that the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship calendar has been approved by e-vote of the World Motor Sport Council. The calendar was unveiled at the traditional pre-24 Hours of Le Mans press conference held this morning, together with confirmation of future technical direction of the Hypercar class, with new regulations set to come into force from 2030 onwards.

The FIA World Endurance Championship’s newest race-winner BMW will start at the front of the field for this weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, after Cadillac lost what would have been a second consecutive Le Mans pole position for the American manufacturer due to a penalty.

Pirelli will remain the single tyre supplier for the FIA Formula One World Championship until 2028.
