ArcelorMittal is the first company in Brazil to be certified under the FIA Road Safety Index (RSI), achieving the maximum three-star rating for its facility in Santa Catarina. The FIA announced the certification during the FIA World Endurance Championship, 6 Hours of São Paulo. The FIA Road Safety Index provides organisations with a data-driven methodology to assess, manage, report and improve their road safety footprint.

The FIA has announced the launch of 17 road safety projects across 15 countries in its Region II (Asia-Pacific) through the FIA Foundation. The projects have been developed as part of the FIA Safe Mobility 4 All & 4 Life programme, an FIA University initiative delivered in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and supported by the FIA Foundation. The programme supports FIA Member Clubs and government authorities in building safer transport systems through training, mentoring, and evidence-based actions. The projects were presented during a graduation ceremony in Geneva for participants who have completed the programme.
