2018’s champions are racing into Russia for the glittering FIA Prize Giving at the Philharmonia

The annual FIA Prize Giving Ceremony gathers the year’s championship-winning drivers and teams from around the world to celebrate their achievements, with 2018’s top talents arriving in Saint Petersburg, Russia, for a prestigious evening at the city’s spectacular Philharmonia.

On their way into the world-famous concert hall, the stars will walk past the championship-winning FIA Formula One and FIA World Rally Championship cars on the red carpet, stopping along the way for interviews that will feature on the FIA Facebook page.

For the first time ever, we will then move to Facebook Live to show the Prize Giving, giving fans unprecedented access to the most glamourous night of the motor sport calendar.

The top three drivers from this year’s FIA Formula One World Championship – Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen – will all collect their awards, along with six-time FIA WRC champion crew Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia, all-conquering WRX champion Johan Kristoffersson and Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne.

In addition to the championship honours, a number of other awards will also be presented. These include the FIA President's Special Awards, FIA Action of the Year which was voted for by the public, as well as the FIA Personality of the Year, selected by permanently FIA-accredited journalists and FIA Rookie of the Year, decided by the FIA Drivers’ Commission.

A highlight programme from the event is available to broadcasters around the world from Formula 1 TV.
