Interactive exhibition will run throughout the Games in Buenos Aires

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) will, for the first time, be present at the Youth Olympic Games from 7-17 October in Buenos Aires. An interactive Road Safety Exhibition in the Green Park area of the Games, will be open to all who attend the Games.

The FIA will undertake activities across its main pillars of Sport and Mobility, giving visitors opportunity to learn about the #3500LIVES Global Campaign and interactively engage with the FIA’s Golden Rules for Road Safety.

They will also be able to participate in an FIA E-Karting Experience, which will introduce these road safety messages in a controlled, informative and entertaining environment.

Road traffic crashes are the number one killer of young people aged between 15-29 around the world, making the Youth Olympic Games a perfect platform to present the key objectives of the Federation.

A special opening ceremony for these activities will be held on 4 October at the FIA event space, Buenos Aires, in the presence of FIA President Jean Todt, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach and senior IOC members.
