FIA Road Safety Index adopted by New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) — the first municipal fleet in the world to do so. The FIA Road Safety Index enables organisations to evaluate their road safety footprint, identify risks, and guide long-term road safety strategies. As the largest municipal fleet in the U.S. — covering nearly 29,000 owned and leased vehicles — NYC DCAS will use the FIA Road Safety Index to drive measurable safety improvements to make New York City’s streets safer.
