The FIA announces the FIA Prize Giving Partners

The FIA is proud to announce its partners for the 2016 FIA Prize Giving.

The FIA and its flagship event, the annual FIA Prize Giving, will once again rely on its long-term partners Michelin, the French tyre manufacturer and Rolex, the Swiss luxury watch maker, with BMW, the German car manufacturer, joining as the Official Car Partner of the ceremony.

International brands Michelin and Rolex have both been partners of the FIA Prize Giving since 2013 and will join the FIA in Vienna for the 2016 celebrations. Both brands are also involved with the FIA’s major Championships, from the FIA Formula One World Championship sponsored by Rolex to the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the FIA Formula E Championship, all of which are supported by Michelin. BMW becomes the Official Car Partner of the FIA Prize Giving for the first time, and of course has a long and illustrious history in the world of motor sport. The make is currently preparing for its return to the FIA World Endurance Championship (GTE Category) in 2018 as well as for its participation in the FIA Formula E Championship and the DTM series.

It is the moment when the exceptional achievements of each of the FIA Champions are officially recognised by the international sporting community. About the FIA Prize Giving

The FIA Prize Giving ceremony is one of the year’s most anticipated events within the motor sport community. The FIA Prize Giving sees champions from every major branch of motor sport gather together to receive their official FIA awards. This year’s event will be hosted on the evening of 2 December in Vienna at the Hofburg Imperial Palace for what is certain to be a memorable celebration. For this new edition of the FIA Prize Giving, several innovations have been prepared, including the possibility for the fans to interact with the various Champions and personalities during a public event organised the same afternoon in collaboration with host club ÖAMTC on the stunning Heldenplatz.

La FIA a l’honneur de dévoiler le nom de ses partenaires pour la Remise des Prix de la FIA 2016.

Pour sa prestigieuse Remise des Prix annuelle, la FIA pourra compter à nouveau sur ses partenaires de longue date : Michelin, le manufacturier de pneus français et Rolex, l’horloger suisse de luxe. Elle bénéficiera également de l’appui de BMW, le constructeur automobile allemand, en tant qu’"Official Car Partner" de la cérémonie.

Les marques internationales Michelin et Rolex sont toutes deux partenaires de la Remise des Prix de la FIA depuis 2013 et seront représentées à Vienne pour les célébrations de 2016. Ces deux noms soutiennent également les grands Championnats de la FIA, du Championnat du Monde de Formule Un de la FIA sponsorisé par Rolex aux Championnat du Monde des Rallyes de la FIA, Championnat du Monde d’Endurance de la FIA et Championnat de Formule E de la FIA, parrainés par Michelin. BMW, qui devient pour la première fois "Official Car Partner" de la Remise des Prix de la FIA, a bien sûr une longue et illustre histoire en sport automobile. La marque prépare actuellement son retour dans le Championnat du Monde d’Endurance de la FIA (Catégorie GTE) en 2018 ainsi que sa participation au Championnat de Formule E de la FIA et à la série DTM.

La Remise des Prix de la FIA

La cérémonie de Remise des Prix de la FIA est l’un des événements les plus attendus de l’année par la communauté du sport automobile. Elle réunit les Champions de chaque grande discipline du sport automobile venus recevoir leurs récompenses officielles FIA. La Remise des Prix 2016 se tiendra le 2 décembre à Vienne, au Palais impérial de Hofburg, pour une célébration qui promet d’être mémorable. Cette édition comporte plusieurs innovations, notamment la possibilité pour les fans de dialoguer avec les Champions et diverses personnalités lors d’une manifestation publique organisée l’après-midi en collaboration avec le club hôte ÖAMTC sur la superbe Heldenplatz.
