January’s American Awards on NACAM agenda

Sport clubs from across the Americas met at the NACAM regional meeting to discuss a range of topics including the 2014 American Awards and plans for a new racing series in the region.
The meeting discussed ongoing preparations for the next American Awards, set to take place on January 18 in Panama City, as well the possibility of launching a NACAM ‘legends’ racing series using the same car type as recently raced at the Americas selection event of the FIA Institute’s Young Driver Excellence Academy.
The second half of the meeting was devoted to a gathering of all clubs from North and South America for a joint session at which all delegates expressed their enthusiasm for united action in Sport and Mobility.
