FIA 2020 Prize Giving Ceremony supported by Rolex, Michelin and BMW
The FIA’s annual FIA Prize Giving ceremony, which takes place on Friday, December 18, will be supported by official partners Rolex and Michelin and by BMW as the transportation partner.
International brands Rolex and Michelin have been partners of the event since 2013. BMW becomes the Official Transportation Partner of the FIA Prize Giving for a third time, having previously supported the 2016 FIA Prize Giving held in Vienna, Austria and the Paris event last year.
This year’s Prize Giving will take place at the InterContinental Hotel, Geneva and due to the health and safety constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, will be staged virtually.
Rolex, a long-term supporter of motor sport, has been the Official Timepiece of both the FIA Formula One World Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship for many years.
Michelin, one of the leading tyre manufacturers in the world, continues to be a partner of the FIA World Endurance Championship and the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.
FIA President Jean Todt said: “The 2020 FIA Prize Giving will celebrate the champions of this unprecedented year. We are grateful for the continued support of our partners, Rolex and Michelin, and pleased to welcome back BMW to our celebrations.”
