CHAMPIONNAT D’ASIE-PACIFIQUE DES RALLYES

SEASON 2021

CHAMPIONNAT D’ASIE-PACIFIQUE DES RALLYES

Created in 1988, the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) stretches over a huge area of the globe and two continents, from New Zealand all the way up to Japan.

To facilitate participation, the all-gravel event series kicked off last year with a new format: two distinct APRC Cups – the Asia Cup and the Pacific Cup – are now organized into smaller territories and held as qualifiers for the Final.

On the 2019 season decider, Chinese Taipei driver Dewei Lin and co-driver Kepeng Le made the best use of their experience of the Longyou roads of inland China to snatch the FIA APRC laurels. The duo qualified for the final round thanks to a fourth place overall in the FIA Asia Cup and entered in a Subaru XV against six other crews from Japan and three from New Zealand.

The following APRC titles are awarded:

  • FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship for Drivers and Co-Drivers
  • FIA Junior APRC Championship for Drivers under 28
  • FIA APRC2 Championship for Drivers and Co-Drivers
  • FIA APRC Asia Rally Cup for Drivers and Co-Drivers
  • FIA APRC Pacific Rally Cup for Drivers and Co-Drivers

For detailed information about this Championship, please refer to the Sporting Regulations for the Regional Rally Championships which can be found here.
