HRR - Poland to Host the Final of 2021 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies

The FIA Historic Motor Sport Commission has confirmed that the final of the 2021 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies will be hosted by the Rally Poland Historic on the 11-14 November 2021, the tenth anniversary of this highly popular event.   

The Rally Poland Historic is based in the town of Wieliczka, close to the historic city of Krakow.  The rally will consist of 953km of open roads, with 633km of those being part of the regularity tests where the competitors will aim to keep an average speed of 50 kph.

In line with the reshaped concept of the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies, the Rally Poland Historic will be preceded by a number of qualifying events.  There are currently 17 qualifying events in 12 different European countries.  The leading competitors from each qualifying event will receive an invitation to compete for the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies in Poland this November.

John Naylor, President of the FIA Historic Motor Sport Commission, said, “On behalf of the FIA Historic Motor Sport Commission I am pleased to confirm that the Rally Poland Historic will host the finale of the 2021 FIA Trophy Historic Regularity Rallies in November.  After careful consideration, the bid put forward by the Automobilklub Krakowski, the organising club of the Rally Poland Historic, convinced the members of the commission that the final of this years Historic Regularity Rally should be held in Poland for the first time. we look forward to seeing this event taking place in this beautiful part of Europe.”
