Speed is the essence of every form of motor sport, whatever the vehicle involved, be it a single-seater, an enclosed wheel machine, or a rally car. In a fraction of a second, the photographer’s lens can capture the excitement that comes from speed itself, or portray the emotions of those involved, be they drivers, managers, engineers, fans, or even the occasional visitor to this world, in the form of VIPs.
