Czech Martin Kadlečik has emerged victorious in the first-ever FIA Esports South European Zone Cup, held on 19-20 December 2022, on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform. The tournament, which was supported by the FIA Sport Grant Programme and organised by the Croatian Automobile and Karting Federation (CAKF), saw 15 European auto sport federations compete for trophies in four races held on legendary European circuits: Monza, Catalunya, Spa-Francorchamps, and Nürburgring.

Since September 2022, The Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) has spearheaded an inspirational project at Ropazi High School in Latvia. Tapping into the need to engage children in STEM subjects in a fun and practical way, this workshop class focuses on motor sport and asks students to prepare a car for Folkrace amateur autocross, as well as then participate in a real race.

Israel has successfully held its first-ever Hill Climb race, marking a historic day for the country's motor sport industry. The Israel Automobile and Karting Association (ILAKA) supervised the event and worked closely with local authorities and police to obtain the necessary permits.

The 57 RallyRACC Catalunya-COSTA DAURADA (October 20-23) expanded on their measures to reduce the WRC round’s carbon footprint and neutralise the impact that cannot be eliminated through local actions. Calculating and compensating for CO₂ emissions, correct waste management, and prioritising the use of sustainable vehicles by the organisation are some of the measures that have been applied this year.
