As the FIA World Endurance Championship heads to Texas for round 6 of the 2017 season, the 6 Hours of Circuit of The Americas, there is still plenty to fight for with four races of the season remaining.

The 2017 LMP1 FIA World Endurance Manufacturers Championship has seen two wins for Toyota, but Porsche now have the upperhand after securing victory at Le Mans, Nürburgring and Mexico City After securing maximum points at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Porsche lead by 56.5 points but with 168 points still on offer the championship is far from over.

In the LMP FIA World Endurance Drivers Championship Brendon Hartley, Earl Bamber and Timo Bernhard have extended their lead to 41 points after taking their third win in a row in Mexico. The Porsche trio are currently on 134 points with Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps winners, Anthony Davidson, Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi, who could only manage to finish in 3^rd place in Mexico, are on 93 points.

The 2017 GT FIA World Endurance Manufacturers Championship sees Ferrari move ahead of Ford after five races with the Italian manufacturer on 162 points, nine points head of their American rival.  Aston Martin won in Mexico to keep the British firm in touch with the leaders on 140 points, with Porsche on 131 points, meaning all four manufacturers are covered by just 31 points with 168 still available from the final four races.

After finishing in 4^th place in Mexico the 2017 GT FIA World Endurance Drivers Championship is still led by round 1 winners Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell.  The British Ford GT duo are currently on 96 points, with a reduced lead of 8 points ahead of Fred Makowieci and former GTE champion Richard Lietz driving for Porsche.  Ferrari’s Davide Rigon moves up to third with his Ferrari teammate Sam Bird in fourth because the British driver missed the race in Germany.

FIA World Endurance Trophy – LMP2

After hitting technical issues and finishing 9^th in class in Mexico, the no 38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca’s lead has been reduced to 23 points.  Drivers Ho-Pin Tung, Oliver Jarvis and Thomas Laurent are currently on 118 points, with race winners Bruno Senna and Julien Canal in the no31 Vaillante Rebellion Oreca-Gibson now on 95 points.  Their teammate Nico Prost is third on 77 points after missing the race in Germany.

FIA World Endurance Trophy – LMGTE Am

After securing their second win in a row in Mexico the crew of the no77 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche 911 -Christian Ried, Marvin Dienst and Matteo Cairoli - are now leading the LMGTE Am category by ten points on 114 points, with Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda on 104 points in the no98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage.

Former championship leaders Keita Sawa, Matt Griffin and Weng Sun Mok  in the no61 Clearwater Racing Ferrari F488 are just 16 points behind the Porsche trio on 98 points.
