Former FIA Formula 2 pacesetter Johan Jokinen will be spearheading the DASU Race Academy, the Danish national motor sport association’s educational establishment for young kart racers.

Johan Jokinen will be in charge of at least three race camps for kart racers aged 8-14 years. At the race camps, young drivers and their parents will be able to pick up useful knowledge about training, techniques, setting up go-karts and other important information for budding karters.

Lately, Jokinen has been working as a mechanic and coach for a Danish kart racer in combination with his studies.

- “When I started racing go-karts 15 years ago, there were only very few ways of getting the right help and as a newcomer to this sport there are a lot of things to learn. That’s why I’m thrilled to be able to help where my dad and I needed help as we embarked on what was to be the most funny and exciting time in our lives. I have followed this project from the pitlane and I am now looking forward to contributing” says Johan Jokinen.
