DS 3 WRC driver Kris Meeke leads Rally Argentina after a dramatic opening day in which no fewer than five of his World Rally Championship rivals have been forced into retirement, including series leader Sébastien Ogier. While the Ulsterman has also had problems of his own, he now has over a minute in hand to team-mate Mads Østberg, who powered ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala in the final stage when the Finn struggled with gearbox problems and lost time in the last two stages of the day.
