In light of continued global health concerns over COVID-19, and the imposition of a State of Contingency by the Portuguese authorities which brings strict limitations on travel and public gatherings, the World Rallycross of Portugal 2020, scheduled to be hosted at Montalegre International Circuit on October 10-11, has been cancelled. This decision was made after consultation between the FIA, the series promoter IMG, the Portuguese ASN and the local event organizer, with the health and safety of everyone involved as the priority. The World RX of Catalunya-Barcelona on October 17-18 will become a double-header event for both World RX Supercar and Euro RX Super1600.
