FIA Member Club Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e.V. (ADAC), in collaboration with the Technical University of Darmstadt, has demonstrated that fossil-free fuels can be used in regular cars and motorbikes with combustion engines, without needing to modify the engine or software. The study, funded by the ADAC Stiftung, focused on Eco100Pro, a fuel certified 100% fossil-free by ISCC and RedCert.

The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), under the leadership of President Masayoshi Sakaguchi, has launched an "Upcycling Project" aimed at transforming used roadside assistance uniforms into new, functional products through crowdfunding. This initiative is set to run from Wednesday, July 10, to Friday, August 30.

The event took place in Porto, ahead of the WRC Vodafone Rallye de Portugal. The packed agenda saw WRC share a raft of new announcements – including the launch of the Championships’ Sustainability Roadbook, a new programme to encourage female participation in rally, and the launch of a new partnership with the ESA. Featured speakers included the European Space Agency’s Guillaume Prigent and rally legends Michèle Mouton, Pernilla Solberg, and Burcu Çetinkaya. It was held in partnership with WRC Beyond Rally and ACP.
