FIA Vice President for Sport engages with Central Europe Zone to foster collaboration

On 15 April, FIA Vice President for Sport - Europe, Anna Nordkvist, attended the Central Europe Zone (CEZ) meeting and Prize Giving in Warsaw demonstrating the FIA's commitment to fostering collaboration and understanding the needs of CEZ ASNs. Her presence at the event underlined the importance of the CEZ Championship in promoting the growth and development of motor sport within Central Europe.

The CEZ Championship is a highly regarded annual motor sport event that provides a vibrant platform for drivers from 15 countries to showcase their skills and compete against each other.

With over 100 events and more than 900 participants each year, the championship has established itself as a key fixture in the regional motor sport calendar.

During her visit, Vice President Nordkvist engaged in productive discussions with FIA Member Clubs, providing the FIA with valuable insights into the aspirations and needs of the Central European motor sport community. These discussions aimed to foster a collaborative environment and strengthen the bonds between the FIA and CEZ.

The CEZ meeting and Prize Giving ceremony, hosted by the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation(PZM) and its President, Michal Sikora, was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Central European drivers and teams. 

Through continued engagement, the FIA aims to promote the growth and success of motor sport in the region, celebrating the achievements of Central European drivers and fostering a collaborative environment for the future.
