After the success of the first ever women networking event held during the 24 hours of Le Mans, the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission is organising a new roundtable bringing together women from the paddock on 8 September at the Italian Grand Prix.

This new initiative of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission aims to give visibility and awareness on the different activities and positions opened to women in the FIA Championships and to foster common projects.

The World Endurance Championship was the setting for the first event that brought together more than 50 women working at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in different organisations and professions including the 5 female drivers competing, team managers, engineers, communication and marketing professionals and much more. The participants had welcomed the meeting as unprecedented, interactive, and constructive.

The 2022 Italian Grand Prix will host the Second FIA Women in Motorsport Commission Networking Event on 8th September (6 PM / Autodromo Nazionale Monza Hospitality 1st Floor, lounge 102-103).

All women working in the paddock on the race weekend in F1, F2 or F3, whether for the teams, the promoter, the organisation, the circuit, Automobile Club d’Italia, the FIA are invited to connect and share their vision and experience in motorsport. They will be welcomed by Deborah Mayer, FIA Women in Motorsport Commission President.

This round of meeting is part of the new ambition of the Commission: to be the lighthouse for every woman working in motor sport or willing to access the industry.

It also serves the aim to increase diversity by bringing new talents and new faces in motorsport to which all the FIA is committed.
