Masters Drivers

Specifically programmed to take place the end of the season, the FIA Hill Climb Masters is the great annual gathering of the very best hill climb drivers. The Masters aspire to be the Grand Finale of the year just passed for the winners of the national and international championships and to be an event that gives them the opportunity to highlight their talents and to put the discipline firmly in the spotlight.


ELIGIBILITY
All national or international drivers, holders of an international Grade A, B, C, R or D1 licence, who fulfil one of the following criteria for admission are eligible:

At international level
a] be classified among the first 12 in the FIA Hill Climb Championship (Category 1 or Category 2);
b] be classified among the first 12 in a classification of the FIA International Hill Climb Cup (Category 1 or Category 2);

At FIA zone level
c] be classified among the first 3 in an FIA zone Championship (depending on the Categories existing in the zone);

At national level
d] be classified among the first 5 in an existing Category of a national Championship;
e] be classified among the first 3 in an existing group of a national Championship;

Special admission(s)
f] driver aged less than 25 years (born after 12 October 1989) – 1 driver will be appointed by his ASN.
g] woman driver – 1 driver will be appointed by her ASN.
h] Wild Card – special authorisation issued by the FIA Hill Climb Commission.

For those championships that will not have been completed by the closing date for registration in the Masters (24 September 2014), the selection criteria will be established on the basis of the Championship classifications as at 22 September 2014.

WILD CARD  - APPLICATION REQUEST
The Masters provide certain drivers who do not fulfil one of the admission criteria of the Sporting Regulations with the opportunity to take part in the event. The selection is an exceptional performance by the driver in hill climb and also in any of the other motor sport disciplines, at the national or international level.

Every request for a “Wild Card” must be addressed to the FIA Hill Climb Commission before 17 September 2014.
