The Automobil Clubul Român has developed an innovative approach to driver's training.

Seeing that driving school testing methods have not changed in Romania for almost a century, Automobil Clubul Român (ACR) decided to launch new practice driving test using Google Street View on the occasion of the Club's 111th anniversary.

Questionnaires are formulated by the ACR driving instructors, and the platform keeps the same format of the real exam and the time needed to complete the test. The aim is to have questions that are based on everyday situations, taking place upon the streets where the future drivers will be driving.

The ACR started a petition in order to include this type of test in the official preparatory programme for the driving exam. The platform can also help to identify signposting mistakes that can be corrected once discovered.
