FIA GT Nations Cup

The first edition of the FIA GT Nations Cup, organised in conjunction with the SRO Motorsports Group and the Bahrain Motorsport Federation (BMF), will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit from 30th November to 1st December 2018.

Competing cars will meet FIA GT3 regulations and each feature a line-up of two drivers racing over two practice sessions, two qualifying sessions, two qualifying races of sixty minutes each, and a third and final race of sixty minutes to determine the overall winners.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three positioned crews in the final race, with the winning crew also receiving an additional Nations Cup trophy on behalf of their ASN. The event is open for drivers classified as either Silver or Bronze and holding a minimum of a Race International C licence. Each crew must hold a passport of the country that they are representing, and a maximum of one Silver driver is permitted per crew.

Competing crews can be supported by any team, as it does not need to be a team of the same nationality. Teams can also run multiple cars of different nationalities should they wish to do so.
