The eight-event 2022 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship is set to come to a conclusion at Madrid’s Circuito del Jarama this weekend

With Norbert Kiss securing his fourth series crown during the penultimate round held at Le Mans’ Bugatti Circuit last weekend, there are still major battles set to commence across Saturday and Sunday.

Plus, the Hungarian ace will be looking to add to his 14 wins this season and improve his impressive record of winning at least one race in each of this season’s events.

Also looking for silverware in Spain will be six-time title-winner Jochen Hahn, who currently leads the running for second overall. There are only 12 points apart between Hahn and his challenger Sascha Lenz.

Behind the top three in the standings, 2017 champion Adam Lacko, who didn’t make it onto the podium at Le Mans, will be eager to finish the season on a high.

There will be several other drivers to watch at Jarama, especially local ace Antonio Albacete, who on many occasions has proved to be a strong performer on home soil.

2021 ETRC Jarama winners:
Race 1: Norbert Kiss
Race 2: André Kursim
Race 3: Norbert Kiss
Race 4: Téo Calvet
