Eurosport to broadcast live coverage of the 2022 FIA Karting World Championship during the Le Mans events

The FIA is pleased to announce a partnership with Eurosport for the FIA Karting World championship which will take place in Le Mans, France from September 1-4.

Eurosport have agreed to take on the live broadcast of the World championship event hosted in Le Mans over the Eurosport App. In addition, Eurosport will run a large advertising campaign on the Eurosport linear television channels and the Eurosport digital platforms to help promote the sport of karting to a broader world audience.

The Le Mans event will feature over 300 drivers competing in categories including the KZ World Championship, the KZ2 World Cup, the KZ2 Masters Super Cup, the Academy Trophy and demonstrations runs in the Historic Super Cup.

FIA Karting Commission President Akbar Ebrahim said: “We are delighted that Eurosport has chosen to broadcast the World Championship event at Le Mans next month live on their Eurosport Player. This initiative will bolster our aim of growing the reach and appeal of karting to a broader audience.

“This partnership will enable us to showcase the wealth of karting talent the FIA Karting World Championship has to offer. Eurosport viewers will be treated to some exciting competition featuring the motorsport stars of tomorrow.”
