Q:
Alexandr, how was it out there today? You said earlier that the wet conditions suit you more due to your history in autocross. The track was dry so how did you manage to do such a fantastic lap?

AA:
I just increased my speed a little bit, but there was again not enough grip, so for me it was like in rain. But still it was [somehow] a little bit possible.

Q:
How difficult was it for you to try and fight for the pole position on this difficult track?

AA:
I was here for the Volkswagen Golf Cup before and in ETCC once in 2015 so the track is not so new to me, although I don't have that much experience here. I like it, it's a good track.

Q:
Do you think tomorrow the more experienced ETCC guys could be a problem for you?

AA:
The race will show, we'll see.

Q:
But the ambition remains to win, as you said at the start of the weekend?

AA:

Yes, as I told you I want to win, but we'll see in the race.

Q:
Turning to Zsolt, you set your best time very early in the session. Was it difficult to improve or did you know it was going to be enough?

ZDS:
I had brake issues and that's why in the first laps it was difficult to find my braking points. After that I felt it would be worse and worse. That's why my first lap was the best and I couldn't improve it. I did a little mistake in Turn 12 but it was a good lap in general and I'm happy. It's the first time I race here with this car on this track so I'm very happy.

Q:
Turning to Norbert, you are already quite experienced here. How was qualifying for you?

NN:
It was very difficult for me and I felt some more pressure on my home track. In the first part I used old tyres and for the last laps I had new tyres. After this session [was over] I thought I could do better laps than I did in qualifying, but my team told me I need to calm down. So we'll see [what happens] in the races.
