"The FIA's aim: The protection of today's motorists in a safer and ecologically responsible environment."

The successful campaign for tougher crash test standards for new cars, signalled the FIA's more focused representation of today's motorists and consumers.

The FIA also called for the introduction of safer and stricter regulations for car child seats, and for fiscal incentives for manufacturers whose cars meet stringent new safety and exhaust emissions standards.

All the FIA's actions are focused and contribute to one aim: the protection of the motorist and of personal mobility in a safer and ecologically responsible environment.
