"The FIA is the voice of more than 100 million motorists from 120 countries world-wide."

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the voice of the motorist. The federation is made up of national motoring organisations which together represent more than 100 million motorists and their families. The FIA has two divisions:

- Mobility and the Automobile - is responsible for all matters relating to the motorist, such as road safety, environment and consumer protection.

- Sport - as the world governing body for all forms of motor sport, which includes the FIA Formula One World Championship. With over 55 billion viewers every year, Formula One has the largest television audience in sport.
