RUSSIAN VISA SUPPORT PROCEDURE The applicants can obtain an entry visa based on the visa invitation letters, issued on the official letterhead of the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Organizing Committee. For the media category only single entry visas are available. The visa support procedure for obtaining a Russian visa is the same as before. Any foreign national (regardless of his/her citizenship) holding an official letter from the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Organizing Committee can obtain a Russian visa at a Diplomatic Mission and Consular office of the Russian Federation, located outside of the Russian Federation with the set of documents mentioned below. A team’s representative can submit documents and receive the visas on behalf of the whole team, however we would like to remind you that according to the Executive Order of the President of the Russian Federation on “collecting biometric data of foreign nationals and stateless persons”, foreign nationals (regardless of the nationality of the applicant) and stateless persons applying for a Russian visa at the Diplomatic Missions and Consular offices of the Russian Federation in United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Denmark and Myanmar and Namibia are required to submit their biometric data for collection in person. The same procedure will also be used by the Russian Foreign Ministry’s representative office at the border crossing point in Vnukovo International Airport. We also would like to remind you that the on-site procedure of collecting the biometric data at your location is still available for those who apply for a Russian visa in London and Edinburgh, subject to a request submitted at the correspondent visa center. The set of documents for a Russian entry visa is the following: - Valid passport (the passport should be valid for 6 months after the visa expiry date); - Scanned copy of an invitation letter that we send; - Application form (https://visa.kdmid.ru/PetitionChoice.aspx); - 1 photo (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm, color or black-and-white); - Insurance; - Visa Fee Processing time of issuing an entry visa is: Up to 5 days– regular consular fee. 1-3 days– express consular fee. Please note that the Diplomatic Missions and Consular offices of the Russian Federation will be closed during the following periods for national holidays: 22-23 February 2016 07-08 March 2016. Please find attached the application form for the 2016 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix. In order to get the invitation letter for the 2016 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix, please fill in the application form (in attachment) and send it alongside with the scanned copies of applicants’ passports to visasupport@sochiautodrom.ru. Please don’t forget to check the passports’ expiry dates, as a passport should be valid for 6 months after the visa expiry date.
