Mrs. Susan Pikrallidas
Susan Pikrallidas is the Secretary General for Automobile Mobility and Tourism for the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The FIA is the governing body for world motor sport and the federation of the world’s leading motoring and touring organisations.
Under Susan’s leadership, FIA Mobility has been dedicated to representing the rights of motoring organisations and motorists throughout the world through advocacy and numerous campaigns and activities. On such issues as safety, mobility, the environment and consumer law the FIA actively promotes the interests of motorists at the United Nations, within the European Union and through other international bodies.
Prior to joining the FIA, Susan worked for the American Automobile Association for 30 years, where she served as Vice President for Public Affairs, managing public relations, government relations, corporate communications, traffic safety policy and international policy. She also served on the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety’s Board of Trustees and Research and Development Committee.
Prior to her career at AAA, Susan worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, first for Congressman Wiley Mayne and then for the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
She is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the American Bar Association.
