Rebellion Racing has been part of the FIA World Endurance Championship since the first race in Florida in March 2012. The Swiss team have competed in LMP1 in every season except for 2017, when they competed in LMP2, winning the team and driver titles before moving back to LMP1 for the 2018/19 Super Season.

The no1 Rebellion Racing R13-Gibson was the quickest car in the first Free Practice session of the 4 Hours of Shanghai weekend in China, Round 3 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship. American Gustavo Menzes posted a 1m.48.761 lap late in the 90-minute session to push the no5 Team LNT Ginetta-AER into second spot by four tenths after Ben Hanley’s best time had put the British team at the head of the time sheets for most of the session. The no6 Ginetta finished third quickest, just 0.051s behind the sister car.
