Team LNT sets the outright pace on day 1 of the 4 Hours of Shanghai weekend, with Charlie Robertson in the no6 Ginetta-AER lapping the 5.4km Shanghai International Circuit in 1m48.127s, over six tenths quicker than the best time set in FP1. The no7 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 was second fastest, just 0.081s behind the lead car. Rebellion Racing was third fastest ahead of the no8 Toyota and the no5 Ginetta.

The pre event press conference for the 4 Hours of Shanghai was held this afternoon at the Shanghai International Circuit. Five drivers faced the international media attending Round 3 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship.

American Gustavo Menzes posted a 1m.48.761 lap late in the 90-minute session to push the no5 Team LNT Ginetta-AER into second spot by four tenths after Ben Hanley’s best time had put the British team at the head of the time sheets for most of the session. The no6 Ginetta finished third quickest, just 0.051s behind the sister car.
