The eight drivers that claimed the four class poles for the 4 Hours of Shanghai gathered for the post qualifying press conference.

Team LNT sets the outright pace on day 1 of the 4 Hours of Shanghai weekend, with Charlie Robertson in the no6 Ginetta-AER lapping the 5.4km Shanghai International Circuit in 1m48.127s, over six tenths quicker than the best time set in FP1. The no7 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 was second fastest, just 0.081s behind the lead car. Rebellion Racing was third fastest ahead of the no8 Toyota and the no5 Ginetta.

The pre event press conference for the 4 Hours of Shanghai was held this afternoon at the Shanghai International Circuit. Five drivers faced the international media attending Round 3 of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship.
