Karamyshev from lights to flag

Nikolay Karamyshev dominated the first of the Spa races for the FIA European Touring Car Cup from green lights to chequered flag.

For half of the race the Chevrolet driver was followed by his team-mate Igor Skuz, but the latter was passed for second position by Mato Homola on the fifth lap.
Petr Fulin won the TC2 class ahead of the Sládecka brothers, Samuel and Filip.
Dmitry Bragin was the winner in the Single-Make Trophy and finished ahead of fellow countrymen Sergey Ryabov and Mikhail Maleev, while Gilles Bruckner inherited wins in the S1600 class after Ulrike Krafft retired for a technical problem.

Key moments
Start – Karamyshev takes the lead ahead of Skuz going into La Source.
Lap 1 – Turkish team-mates Biter and Önder clash and spin on the straight leading down to Raidillon. Minutes later the third Turkish driver Salargil hits Pellinen and retires.
Lap 2 – Karamyshev and Skuz lead from Homola. Homola tries to pass Skuz at the end of Les Combes. Maleev, Pfister and Ryabov fight a three-way battle for second in the SMT class.
Lap 3 – Fischer spins on his own at the end of the Kemmel straight.
Lap 4 – Filip Sládecka overtakes Matějovský for sixth. Pfister spins at Les Combes.
Lap 5 – Homola tries to pass inside Skuz entering the Bruxelles hairpin, but Skuz closes the door rather firmly. Krafft retires from the S1600 lead. Skuz then overshoots his braking for the chicane and Homola moves up to second. Bruckner leads the S1600 class from Lukas and Niks.
Lap 6 – Lukas, Niks and Kranenberg squabble over second place in the S1600.
Lap 7 – Niks and Kranenberg spin at Bruxelles. Kranenberg then hits Lintgen from behind entering the chicane.
