The lights will soon go out at the Autódromo Internacional Algarve to signal the start of the first Formula 1 Portuguese Grand Prix in 24 years. In the build up to the country’s long awaited F1 return, the Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting (FPAK) has been on hand to assist with preparations and to take on the crucial role of providing the volunteers who will ensure safety and fairness at the pinnacle of motor sport.

On the final day of the Alpine Challenge in Switzerland, the no7 Opel Ascona 2000 of Belgian crew Michel Decremer and Patrick Lienne continued to lead the way, finishing the event at the head of the classification with 860 net penalty points and lifting the 2020 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies.

The first official post-season test of the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship begins tomorrow at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in Spain.
