FIA International Court of Appeal - Media Accreditation

06.04.14
Note on the Media Accreditation procedure for the FIA International Court of Appeal hearing on 14 April 2014.

As we are expecting considerable media interest in the hearing of the FIA International Court of Appeal scheduled for 14 April, we would ask that any media wishing to attend the hearing follow the strict accreditation procedure set out below.

Requests for accreditation must be sent by email to the FIA Press Office (press@fia.com) on the letterheaded paper of the media organisation requesting accreditation no later than Monday, April 7, 2014 at 5.00 pm (CET).

The accreditation request must be signed by the Chief Editor or the Head of a Department (specify which) of the relevant media organisation.

The accreditation request must also include the following:

i)       the hearing and the date for which the accreditation is requested;

ii)      name of the journalist and photocopy of his professional press card (currently valid);

iii)      email address to which the FIA can send an answer.

We would also remind you that spaces are very limited and there is no guarantee that accreditation requests will be successful.

Please also note that because of space restrictions, media will not be allowed to attend the hearing in the courtroom itself. However, accredited media representatives will be able to follow the proceedings via live broadcast to a separate room by means of closed circuit television.

Finally, we would ask that those in receipt of accreditation make sure they arrive in good time in order to ensure the smooth running of proceedings.
