Motor sport industry gears up for first FIA Sport MotorEx 2014

Leading companies from across motor sport will gather next month in Munich for FIA Sport MotorEx2014 a new industry-themed showcase and discussion forum organised by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile), the governing body of motor sport worldwide.

FIA Sport MotorEx 2014, to be held from 24-26 June at the impressive headquarters of Germany’s largest motoring organisation, ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e.V.) will run in parallel with the FIA’s second annual Sport Conference and will give representatives of motor sport organisations from around the world access to top industry experts, event promoters and leading figures from racing and rallying.

As well providing a forum for industry to interact with sport organisers from around the globe, FIA Sport MotorEx will offer a platform for the analysis of future trends and opportunities in motor sport through a range of special events featuring key decision-makers and experts from across the sporting spectrum. 

Commenting on the event’s exciting format, FIA President Jean Todt said: “FIA Sport MotorEx affords ASNs and industry figures a unique opportunity. For the motor sport industry it is a chance to map the future of their businesses in the form of the aspirations and requirements of ASNs from around the world. For sporting authorities this week’s exhibition represents a chance to tap into the know-how and business acumen of companies with decades of motor sport expertise.

Among the providers represented at the FIA Sport MotorEx partners Ellis Clowes and Magneti Marelli as Global Partners of the event.
