Having heard the explanations of both parties and examined the various documents and other evidence, the Court quashed the decision of the Italian National Court of Appeal and decided to fine both competitors Carly Motors B.V. and Autodelta $ 25,000 (US) for an infringement to Appendix L, chapter IV and to Articles 152 and 153 of the International Sporting Code.
The International Court of Appeal was presided over by Mr. Jose Macedo e Cunha (Portugal), and composed of Mr. Vassilis Koussis (Greece), Mr. Graham Stoker (Great Britain), and Mr. Jan Stovicek (Czech Republic).
