In this way, Michelin is dedicated to create a better mobility for tomorrow.

In 2011, Michelin and the FIA signed a partnership agreement which fostered the international Golden Rules campaign as part of the FIA Action for Road Safety. This campaign illustrates the special relationship between driver and vehicle: a combination of pleasure and responsible behaviour. It outlines the key safety rules that everyone should be aware of.

Road safety is an ever-present concern for road users throughout the world. This is why the Michelin Group supplies tyres that ensure optimum safety for drivers and their passengers. However, Michelin goes the extra mile by also promoting good practice among road users. Since 2010, Michelin's awareness campaigns have benefited over 3 million people throughout the world.

Motorsport is also in Michelin's DNA, and allows the brand to be at the cutting edge of innovation. Involved in a large range of disciplines, Michelin has always considered motorsport as a true laboratory in order to test and show the superiority of its products. The technology developed through motorsport can be found in Michelin’s road tyres, the transfer from track to street being at the heart of Michelin’s philosophy. Tyres need to deliver optimal performance on all fronts, from durability and versatility, to safety, consistency and… performance. From the Michelin solutions engineered for motorsport to those produced for road cars, this is the driving force behind the Michelin Total Performance concept.
