African Rally Championship

The African Rally Championship is divided in two regions:

Rallies shall not exceed a total length of 1200 km. Of the 2 formats set out below, only one may be used.

Special stage Rallies are timed speed tests on roads closed for the rally. The total distance of special stages is set at a distance between 200 km and 300 km.

Competitive section Rallies are termed ‘Safari’ type Rallies, run on roads not closed for the Rally. The total competitive section distance is set at a distance between 200 km and 300 km.

The following titles will be awarded :

FIA African Rally Championship for Drivers and Co-Drivers
FIA ARC Manufacturers Cup
FIA ARC Cup for Drivers and Co-Drivers using 2WD, normally aspirated cars of maximum 1600cc.

Drivers and co-drivers wishing to take part in the Championship must register before 30 April 2015.
