 International Court of Appeal

The following hearing of the International Court of Appeal will take place in Paris:

Appeal lodged by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA) on behalf of its competitor Hexis Racing AMR against the decision of the National Court of Appeal of the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund e.V. (DMSB) on 3 September 2009 – Event run in Oschersleben (Germany) on 21 June 2009 and counting towards the 2009 FIA GT3 Championship

Following the race run at Oschersleben, the engine of car N°3 was examined by the FIA Technical Delegate.  On the basis of a report from the Technical Delegate dated 10 July 2009 and which found that the car’s engine differed from its homologation forms in five areas, the Stewards decided to exclude car N°3 from the race 2 of the Oschersleben event.

The competitor Hexis Racing AMR decided to appeal this decision to the German National Court of Appeal.

At its hearing of 3 September 2009, the German National Court of Appeal confirmed the decision of the Stewards.

The competitor Hexis Racing AMR decided to appeal the decision of the German National Court of Appeal to the International Court of Appeal.

Decision
The decision is expected on Thursday 15 October 2009, in the afternoon.
