APPEAL TO THE COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT
Mr Igor Walilko, who is a minor, tested positive to Nikethamide, a specified substance belonging to the group S6b, stimulants of the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, during the “ADAC Kartenrennen Ampfing” DKM Weekend event held in Ampfing, Germany on 18 July 2010, an FIA International Event registered on the 2010 CIK-FIA International Sporting Calendar.
By decision dated October 11, 2010, the Anti-Doping Committee – FIA Medical Commission disqualified Mr Igor Walilko from the individual result achieved in the “ADAC Kartrennen Ampfing”, DKM Weekend event, as well as from any competitive results achieved as from 18 July 2010 and suspended him for two years.
Mr Igor Walilko has decided to appeal this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
An Award will be made in due course by the Panel to be constituted by the CAS.
