 Anti-Doping Committee – FIA Medical Commission

Mr Igor Walilko, who participated in the “ADAC Kartenrennen Ampfing” DKM Weekend event held in Ampfing, Germany on 18 July 2010, an FIA International Event registered on the 2010 CIK-FIA International Sporting Calendar, had been tested positive to Nikethamide, a specified substance belonging to the group S6b, stimulants, of the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List.
 
The Anti-Doping Committee – FIA Medical Commission (ACMC) held a hearing in this case in Paris on Monday 11 October 2010.
 
 
Decision of the ACMC
 
The ACMC has concluded that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation according to Article 2.1 of the FIA Anti-Doping Regulations – “Presence of Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in a driver's Sample" – has been established.
 
As a consequence, the ACMC has decided to impose the following sanctions on Mr Igor Walilko:

the sanction of ineligibility for a period of 2 years is imposed to Mr Igor Walilko,

starting on 18 July 2010;
 

Mr Igor Walilko is disqualified from the individual result achieved in the “ADAC Kartrennen Ampfing”, DKM Weekend event held in Ampfing, Germany, on 18 July 2010, as well as from any competitive results achieved as from 18 July 2010, with all resulting consequences including forfeiture of any trophies, points and prizes.

Mr Igor Walilko has 21 days to appeal this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
