On behalf of the Japan Automobile Federation I would like to thank the FIA members around the world for their kind expressions of sympathy and concern of late. In Japan we continue to face unprecedented challenges due to the recent natural disasters and the ensuing problems at nuclear power facilities. Fortunately the JAF staff are safe however many of our countrymen and women have not been so fortunate.
I have dispatched our special road service team to the afflicted areas and we at JAF will continue in our efforts to assist our members and the wider Japanese community at this difficult time.
